This Digital Advertising course is intended to serve as an introduction to digital advertising — with the goal of teaching students how to understand the value of making a dynamically created digital ad creative that increases the probability of the advertisement being clicked on and resulting in a successful transaction.
The role of digital ads in overall digital marketing strategy will be discussed first, followed by a fast review of building customer personas and mapping out purchasing journeys and sales funnels. This will be led through the development of Google ads using online tools and Facebook ads using the Facebook platform after they have established their digital advertisement strategies.
Finally, students will learn how to build a monitoring and optimization strategy for potential ad campaigns in order to improve ROI.
Recognize the key features that make up an online and offline marketing mix
Determine the appropriate engagement media and channels for your target audiences
Design and manage a media plan to achieve organizational and/or project KPIs
Tactically execute a Google search ad to drive traffic to a landing page
Tactically execute a FB retargeting ad for re-engagement and conversion
Use attribution modelling to identify how different channels assist in conversion to optimize your ad spend
